Amazing...

You have really outdone yourself here. This is an amazing track. Really. I put it on my playlist next to Tiesto and Faithless.

I love this track. Usually, when a DnB maker goes to trance, one of 2 things will happen. Either it will be DnB with a lead, or it will be trance with incredible drumwork. You were the better, and the latter. The drumming in this song is 1000x better than in most trance songs! I see that you didn't follow the overused "kick, clap, kick, clap" formula. Great job on the drums.

For the "Oh, no," I can't tell whether that is a synth or a vocal synthesizer. I have heard (and made) basses that talk, but here it is so good that I cannot be sure.

The choir was a very nice touch and it brought out the other, background elements of the piece.

Awesome song, make more trance, please!

TheComet responds:

I've got a remix of this song in the works with a slightly harder kicker (heh..lost the old one go figure), maybe with a mix of acid and goa a little, who knows?
The Oh No was actually a text to speech voice with a saw bass synth mixed in.

Glad you liked the song, trance and dance stuff is pretty much what I used to do until I made Incapitation, so I'm glad I havn't lost my old touch :D

Complete awesomeness in DnB form

This rocked. Really, it was awesome!

Personally, I really liked the drum work, and the driving snare, pushing ahead!! The reverse and glitch elements were awesome, I loved them. That pounding snare was also good for annoying my friends. I can't even listen to this track at max volume without running or speeding up!

The bass had a nice texture, and really gave the piece a creepy atmosphere. The most creepy instrument, however, was the detuned pad. That was scary and totally awesome. I like the break and that weird filtered siren thing was cool!

Keep up the awesome work, more reviews to come!

Awesome!

Once again, you manage to pull an awesome track out of that endless hat of yours!!

I like the drum work, it is very complex, great job on that! It sounds professional!

The panning on the pad wasn't really a nice touch, but the pad itself was awesome and added to the track.

The vocals fit, you couldn't understand them, but they enhanced the atmosphere!

You rock! First DL and 5'd!

Thanks for your vote, navij11! You voted 5 for DJ Comet-First Contact, raising its score from 4.33 to 4.50

LOLMEMORIES

Well, it brings back memories. Sytrus presets =O... Stay away from them!!! Make your own sounds, or use something not as easily recognizable. Really, presets=bad, and Sytrus is a powerful program, I am sure you can whip something up that will own this bell preset (hell, even I can!).

Well, the drums are nice and varied, and the background is nice. I always hated Deoxys though, I don't know why! The music was good, but really, stay away from presets. Also, get your master volume automation to be SMOOTHER. You should maybe mix a bit better and use automation to help you out!

Chao-Guy responds:

Sytrus? I use Fruity Loops Studio 6.
And presets, wha? I don't do music! I just click and drag stuff and good stuff sometimes happens, lol!
But if you mean use a better bell, I know what you mean. I defintely will try to get smoother volume.

Thank you for the advice,
Keep it up!

Huh...

Why did you submit it again?!

If you wanted reviews, you could look at http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic.php?id=253861.

You really shouldn't resubmit without real changes.

Spiriax responds:

I did it just because I thought the song would be more fitting in the Trance section.
The thing is, I was gonna delete the other one. But it seems like I can't do that. :O Or at least I don't know how.

Thanks for the tip, though.

Good!

Good song, it was different from the usual, you being the king of all ambient music, it was good to hear something else. It was interesting, and kind of catchy, not too catchy though.

The piano was a nice touch. This was NOT classical, there were drums that were not timpani and there were no classical instruments other than piano.

Well, this is where I thank you for making you music. Seriously, you music has helped more than one person conquer teenage insomnia. Really, you are getting some downloads of your best "sleepy time" songs.

Awesome!

Nice job! I loved the hoover! Keep up the good work!

Hmm, hardstyle...

I liked it! It was not as hard as I was expecting!

It is mixed well, though there was still a few problems. One is that the kick needs more OOMPH!! Like, use a gabber kick or something, or it isn't hardstyle.

Second, this didn't feel like hardstyle to me, as I didn't get a headache from listening. Also, there wasn't enough going on. Add a reverb on the master track to make it feel more full.

Dr-Dajova responds:

Well, like i said in the description, this was my first hardstyle-track ever :D

kind of you to rate it kinda high anyhow ;)
