Wow!

Wow. This was a really good piece.

The first thing that popped out at me was the piano and the choir. The choir seemed to fit perfectly with the smooth piano part.

The bass was really good too. It didn't overpower, yet it influenced the song in important ways. It effectively made up for the lack of percussive instruments.

The strings are really nicely done and are very legato styled. They blend well with the background.

My only complaint is length. It had a long build and was very short. I would advise more length and also some more variation, although this was very good without those two things.

Keep up the good work!

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Well, there's actually a strange reason for the short length. If these pieces were as long as I'd like them to be, the game would take up an ungodly more amount of hard drive capacity than it already will.

Thanks for the review.

Eek!

Well...

It is very short, and not too original. It also doesn't loop too well.

I like that you are trying, but it really needs to loop well and be long enough to use without getting bored.

I would advise longer loops next time.

Thats... Err...

Thats quite a title for a song.

I actually liked this, but then, I have always been partial to acoustic guitar and piano, especially happy and fast.

The drums in this song were good, but I felt that the techno effects and elements didn't fit too well.

Also, the transformation to metal ruined to song for me, sorry.

Still, 10/10.

ABITA responds:

lol well the whole metal part was specially requested for my friend he told me to make a happy tune and then break out into hardcore metal so yeah.......my apologies for that ......i hope you ears aren't bleeding^^

Well...

This was really good for a first song.

The drumwork was nice, but you need to remember a few things about beats and emphasis. The 1st and 3rd part of the beat are the strongest, and I noticed that you had things on the weaker parts of the beat. Usually, that works fine, but if you have an important part, such as the snare, on it repeatedly, it sounds bad.

The other thing was that the song didn't move except for the drums. You should change up stuff more and keep the song moving.

Overall, this was great for a first song, keep up the good work!

thnks i remember that, ill tkae all the help i can get.

You've still got a lot to learn

This was good for a second song. There was a few things I need to comment on.

1. FL Slayer - Its not really good for experienced users, I would advise not using it and maybe getting a new VST.

2. Movement - This piece didn't really go anywhere. Nothing happened, it just stayed with the guitar and piano.

3. Drums - The drums weren't very good. I could barely hear them, except for the overused crash.

4. Bass - The bassline was good. Keep using different bass parts, it adds a whole new level to the song.

Try exploring automation clips more and getting the program down.

Keep it up!

KTHXBYE.

2 Good things....

This was trance more than DnB.

The kick was good. It sounded like a club type of thing.

The melody sucked. It was short and didn't sound good. The synths were also bad choices.

You seem to have mastered how to do a break well, though.

wow...

Well, you found a chord which makes my head hurt.

You found some random drums by clicking too much.

You took some weird Egyptian melody.

You made a short song.

Congratulations, it fails.

...no

It was short. It had a long build up, then nothing. I could make better DnB than this!

Also, its not Goth at all.

You really didn't do too much.

Try harder.
