Hmmm...

Well, it was good, I don't think the snare really fit.

Also, I would have liked the reese a bit stronger. Just eq it a bit.

Otherwise, I like it, its a nice DnB song beginning! Keep it up!

Good, needs better mixing

It was good!!!!!! I liked the bass.

My issue was with the mixing. The snare needs to be louder and punchier. Try equing at around 320 for more punchiness. Otherwise, it was good!

Nice!

So, this is a good first submission, so I will assume that you have been making music for a bit.

The first thing I noticed was that there was a bit of static on the high frequencies, try filtering to remove.

The second thing I noticed, was that it was repetitive. It is pretty much the same theme with a few minor changes, for about 2 minutes. Now, if it was an eight minute trance song, that would be ok, but it is very short, so try either extending it or making it longer.

The third thing I noticed was that the background synth with a phaser on it should have been a bit more dry.

The kick was not strong enough, try adding a multiband and adding more bass, and then trying to eq it to as close to 0 as you can without going over.

Now, for the most important part - post production mastering. I noticed how the waveform did not seem compressed or soft-clipped, and that is good. However, I did notice that the master track was eqed, and that is OK, as it is minor.

Now, I liked the complex bass rhythm, but I would have preferred to see it sidechained to the kick, as that makes it duck when the kick plays.

I also like the reverb on the snare, it makes the atmosphere better.

Overall, I liked it, but there were a few details I would have filled in had I been making it.

9/10

Thanks for the details. I'll be sure to look at the song later and fix some things. Thanks again!

lolnice

omg nice but a few problems.

Uhhh... Snare is not punchy enough until the reese comes in, then its good.

I don't like how quiet the reese is, it needs to be LOUDER, STRONGER, and BIGGER.

Its an interesting song, but I know who did most of the work XD

Yum

eJay preset samples FTW!

Um... Ok

I didn't really like it.

Defection is acidic breaktrance, this is piano. I was expecting some hard hitting acid arps, but it was just piano, no drums, no synths, no glory.

Also, PX9 is a guy. Deal with it. This is coming from an AF reg, not some newb who just read his profile.

Not Drum and Bass

This is breaktrance definitely.

Drum and bass uses complex synths that can sound like stuff growling at you. There are very few notes in drum and bass. This... Is breaktrance. It is like trance but with amen breaks. You need to listen to some DnB before making your own. Try API and {The Sewers} by cornandbeans.

It was a nice song, wayyyy too fast for DnB. DnB is good at 172, slow it down a bit!

Overall good, but not DnB, keep it up!

Wheee, breaktrance!

I liked it! It was a very interesting song!

First off, if this is FL, you should use the step sequencer, it is very powerful, rather than slicing beats. It really allows you to add your own touch to it.

I like the snare, its punchy. With a bit of work, it could make a good DnB snare. I don't really like the automated filtered synth, it doesn't seem to fit.

Overall, great song! Keep it up!

Good

Ok, first, turn down that phaser a bit, make it more dry.

I like the melodies in this song, but it didn't feel powerful to me. You need to work on your "explosions."

I like the panning on the drums on my speakers. It is VERY ANNOYING on headphones.

I like the effects on the drums.

The kick needs to be louder and dominate more. You should also sidechain the bass to the kick, so it ducks.

Strings would be nice, as would harmonization.

Overall, nice song, keep it up!

Nice!!

I loved it! It felt like a rave thing, with the delay and reverb and all...

This is probably trance, not techno. I have a problem with crowd cheering samples, I would have used a cymbal instead.

It is really melodic, I would have liked a bit more subtleties, rather than just melody.

The kick was not strong enough, nor was the bass,

Overall, despite my criticism, a very good song, keep it up!
