Hmm, interesting!

Wow, you have some really uniques elements here, and some really good things! There's also a few minor problems, but it seems pretty good.

First, the initial drum introduction is a bit too sudden. I would have used a volume or filter automation clip.

I really love the downward sliding on the bass. It is INTERESTING and NEW, unlike other trance songs.

I would advise making the drums more complex, they do not seem all that varied. You should add more interest to the drum part.

This is a really good song, so far! I'm viciously awaiting the full release (Grammar?)

9/10

Envy responds:

Yeah, I was trying to get the song to kind of jump together rather than flow, cause it's supposed to have a jumpy feel. The sliding is just what it sounds like... Slide tool ftw ^.^

Interesting!

It is an interesting song! There are some good things and some bad things.

First, I didn't think the vocals fit the style too well. They were a massive break from the original style and didn't sound too good.

I really like the bass's quality and texture. It sounds really good and interesting.

I LOVE the drumwork! There are some incredibly fast rhythms going that I have no idea how to do. There was one drum, like a cross between a tom and a kick that dominated the song. I think it should have been muted a bit more, rather than dominating the song completely.

Overall, I liked it! Too bad you aren't making anything else in FL :(

Well, you suceeded.

This is a really great song. I downloaded it onto my ipod and played it in my car, with my 7 and 11-year-old pop fan brothers in the car. They liked it. If you can get fans of crappy pop and rap to like your music, then I don't know who WOULDN'T like your music.

This song sounds really happy. It really is happy! I just want to run outside and shout! But, I can't so I will just smile. That melody must have taken forever to make! It is awesome, though!

I really like the breakbeat portion! Where do you get your loops from? The breaks in that section are awesome! The bassline is good also.

What I am getting at is that this track rules. End of story.

Yeah!

I liked this one a lot! It sounds slightly Asian to me, rather than African, but the instruments do sound a bit African.

I really like the key that this is in. It sounds odd at first, but then it sounds really good and catchy and... NEW!! I love it! I can't decide whether its major, minor, or just freaky accidentals, but that first melody is great.

I like how the piece develops and the bass. It is strong, and VERY noticeable on headphones. I don't think that it supports the "tribal" atmosphere, as it is distorted and is a saw. I would have gone with something less basic, like a stand up acoustic sound, but hey, you're the judge.

I don't understand the beginning sound, but overall, this is a really nice piece! Keep it up and keep submitting!

LOL

Hardcore Helicopter Gabber!! Gabber!! Gabber!!

The kick was definitely not loud enough or obnoxious enough. Make it more stupid, to show your love of cock.

Who was who? Which guy was which?

The hats were too obnoxious, like the kick should be. There was that website... The one with the electronic music... that had some really obnoxious gabber. It was like di.fm or something.

NICE!!

YAY! First review!

I like the drum work, even though it is a bit generic. The drum samples are really good. The synth is also nice in the beginning.

The break works well, and it is smooth and doesn't just cut everything off. The build then is also good. The main synth is good too, although it is slightly generic.

Then, after the break, the next section is really good. I like the 1337 new synth that kicks in after. It sounds a bit like the trance synth preset for Sytrus, but I know it isn't as it has some other qualities.

Thanks for your vote, navij11! You voted 5 for [GF]Lost-In-Translation[GF], raising its score from 0.00 to 5.00.

And first DL.

Hmm...

Well, you asked. I can't say it measures up to Paragon, as it doesn't. You don't understand the complex things involved in true DnB. There is no stepping rhythm, no awesome gritty bass, nothing even comparable to PX9. The drums are also electronic, so it can't be DnB.

Now, for the song. I liked it! I have always been a fan of Capt. Falcon, so it was a blast from the past for me!

Some of the synths are nice, but it is too plain, too boring! It lacks diversity, but it was certainly an original idea.

It was OK. Not worthy of a download, but close. Keep trying!!

CyrusOfNaias responds:

Thanks for the honest response. I still have a lot to learn, but looking at the path behind me, I think I did way better than when I first started, just like PX9.

You can trust me, I'll keep tryin'!

Wow!

I usually don't like the tetris theme, but this song made me like it.

I mean, who doesn't love breakbeat. This was really good. I didn't like a few things, though.

There was no bass, which is important in a song like this, it adds a base (base=bass, get it?) to the band, and gives you something to play along with the drums.

I also didn't like NOTHING new was added, just more breaks and beats, no bass, no pads, no backup melodies. I was really expecting a build up, but it never came.

It was original, and better than most tetris remix, awesome samples too. It was just missing a few VITAL elements to making a non-boring song.

B34T1N responds:

I know, I rushed alot, I had it there and i was like ok, lets make this song amazing and stupid musicians block im like, ermmm, what to do now so i just repeated it >.<

Short...

Well, I applaud your efforts in remixing a lesser known song, but there were many errors.

I like how you got the lyrics correct, it helps greatly.

It is too short, and doesn't loop perfectly.

Fix those, and it might be OK, even though it lacks variation.

Jarvid responds:

I got the lyrics correctly, baby sandwich?

Congratz on Inventing a new Genre!!

Well, congratulations on inventing a new genre! This is really good! Its like heavy ambient, and I love it!

The distortion really emphasizes the point of the song. It helps make it melodic too. The distorted part isn't perfect though and keeps fading in and out. I'm not sure if its supposed to do that.

I really like the light melody that repeats. It is what makes the song ambient rather than some light form of DnB.

I liked it. 10/10 and 5/5! Keep it up!
