I found it! I really did!
I found the file that got me into electronic music. I'll start from the beginning.
In my early stages, this being when I was about 10, I listened to a lot of popular music. This popular music was generally the music on the radio, especially a station called "Fly 92.3", its station being "WFLY". Now, this was a generic pop radio station, that you see all of the girls from the school listening to. It played all kinds of pop crap, from Rap, to Vocal Pop, to Dance. It was the dance music that caught my eye. I have a vivid memory of sitting on my couch, chilling to the music. I had a little handheld radio that my parents gave me, and I would move around the antenna, trying to get the best connection. I remember tuning to 92.3, and listening. I then heard the first two electronic songs of my life. First on was "Castles in the Sky" by Ian Van Dahl. After that, I remember them playing a Cascada song, I'm not totally sure which song.
Anyways, this was my first experience, but that is now what got me into it. Those songs only sparked my interest in this massive topic. I would continue to listen to the pop radio, and eventually take a liking to the popular rock music, such as Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Then, when I was 12, something changed. I found a gameboy cartridge on the ground, right on the carpet outside our house. The game was Megaman Battle Network 4, Red Sun. It was my first gameboy advance game I ever owned. This was a big thing for me, as my parents had previously limited my computer/video game time immensely. That is no longer the case, thankfully. Anyways, I had this game. I played it. When I played it, I realized something: the music in this game ruled. I then did what would change my life forever: a google search.
I looked up Megaman music on google. Being unaware that there were previous megaman games, I simply downloaded the first .mp3 link I found. It was a pack, of a few files. I forget the site, and its probably gone now. I had these files, and I saved them to my hard drive. I really liked them, and I have vivid memories of playing megaman (duh) to these files. There was one song that was my absolute favorite: I got over 100 listens out of it. It was called "Megaman X3 - Gravitational II Dash."
Fast forward a few years. I just got my mom's old office computer. I've opened it up, but its hard drive was only 8 gigs. I need more memory. I remember that I saw some hard drives in the drawer. I take one out. I don't put it in, I didn't know how to at the time. I just booted the computer up, and tried to install FL Studio. It didn't work. I was advised to upgrade the processor from a Pentium II to a Pentium III, as FL wasn't compatible with the Pentium II.
So, I needed a Pentium III. Turns out that my friend David had an old Pentium III in his garage. It didn't work anymore, but it had a lot of useful parts. I took it, and brought it home. After extensive messing with both motherboards, PCI Slots, SATA cables, power supplies, Keyboard Controller Malfunctions, removed heatsyncs, and many other things, I finally learned my way around the computer. That was about a week ago.
I revisited the old hard drive. That computer wouldn't boot. I eventually ended up using the Pentium II's motherboard with the Pentium III chip. The other motherboard had a broken keyboard controller on the motherboard, and refused to boot. So now I had this computer. The installation of Windows 2000 on the original hard drive didn't work, so I needed to re-install it. I downloaded a disk, and attempted to boot it up. Sadly, it wasn't detecting both the hard drive and the CD-ROM drive, so it didn't work. I decided to give up.
I then spied the old hard drive on the floor. I tried it in the old computer... it didn't work. I then remembered from the old Ubuntu boot that this motherboard had 80 gigs of space. That was when I made the decision to put it in as a slave for this computer. I reconfigured the jumpers, and opened up my computer. The case was badly designed, as the SATA port for the slave was not in reach of the Hard Drive storage area, so I just rested in on the backside of the fan. I hope it doesn't overhead.
I booted up the computer, it worked. The hard drive appeared as a slave. However, only 5 gigs remained. I determined that the folder "./Ubuntu-Trash" (I think) was taking up the space. I opened it up, and it contained the contents of the old hard drive. I looked in a folder there called data, and discovered the data from the hard drive BEFORE that, the old one that broke. Inside "my documents" was a folder called "Megaman Songs" with a few .mp3s in it.
I copied the folder to my desktop, and imported the whole thing into iTunes. And guess what it was? The original folder where I kept my Megaman songs! I was overjoyed, and decided to write this! Now I will share the file of "Megaman X3 - Gravitational II Dash" with you all!

I hope this didn't bore you too much. Feel free to comment on the song that got me into electronic music!
